MAN ROLAND 900– The highly automated large-format press...
With a maximum speed of 14,000 sheets per hour with this machine paper, cardboard up to corrugated board can be processed (from 0.04 mm to 1.6 mm). The special design of the printing unit, sheet guide, inking and dampening unit is the basis for a consistently high print quality. The modular design of the Roland 900 allows a customized compilation for the publishing, packaging and poster printing. The machine is available with up to eight printing units.
At a glance
- The central control is via the control station (Pecom): new formats and substrates can be adjusted automatically by pressing a button
- The inline finishing system with chambered blade and screen application roller offer a wide spectrum in the field of finishing. Optionally, a double coating module is available.
- The feeder is the base for a perfect sheet travel; the suction feedboard ensures reliable sheet feeding. The pneumatic side lay allows the accurate alignment.
- A fast-response inking unit with large storage capacity brings out the color in excellent quality on the substrate. The inking unit temperature control increases production security, as it creates constant printing conditions.
- The plate insertion is done automated by PPL (Power Plate Loading)
- A specific adjusted coloring is achieved by the color control RCI (Remote Controlled Inking)
- Special (optional) nonstop facilities at the feeder and delivery ensure a constant high productivity
